Year of the Dragon

The year of the dragon has come and gone, and it was probably our most fun year yet. We bypassed the sweaty outdoor extravaganza downtown and opted for our own Chinese New Year party at home, complete with red jello and hong baos filled the small coins left around the house.

Sojo's Chinese New Year present from us was a very special Chinese treasure chest. I have been searching for some time now for a unique piece in which to put Sojo's adoption clothes and special keepsakes. I love it.

Great way to celebrate major areas in our lives...at home. Love the Chinese Treasure Chest! I know Sojo will always treasure those moments when she goes thru the Chest with her family. We are going to try to go to the Feb. 4th Chinese Culture Center celebration. The Year of the Dragon does for about 2 weeks in Tucson! Love to all...gong gong
