*Just showed Sojo the new carousel book widget and she LOVED it. Somehow she thought they were all movies. "Look, there's Ten in the Den. Let's watch the movie!"

Love and Books
One of my new favorite pictures of Sojo and Dale reading together.
Sojo has hit the stage of spending lots of time lining things up: blocks, books, cars. The great part of this is we can almost eat an entire meal at a restaurant while she lines things up. Woo hoo! At home, she loves to line up her books to make a house. And speaking of books, I saw this cool widget on someone else's blog and added it to ours to show Sojo's current favorite reads. Working in a library allows me the luxury of always discovering great new books, and it's fascinating to me what works like magic for a toddler. These I chose are some of the ones that she loves to read over and over again. I'll change it up now and again, but feel free to share any titles that you know are great for toddlers!

Great pics, the love of books she will keep forever! Good to know books are good for more than reading; ha ha! Love Nie Nie
I love the widget, and may have to steal yet another idea from you! Has Sojo read "Knuffle Bunny" and "Knuffle Bunny, Too"? Those have been long-standing faves around here. Also, "Lemons are not Red", "Not a Box", "One Moose, Twenty Mice", and "How Do Dinosaurs Say Goodnight". Another one that is a bit old for Sojo, but truly lovely (with amazing collage illustration), is "Listen to the Wind". It's a children's version of Three Cups of Tea. Oh, and we also love "Bark, George", and "Hi, Pizza Man!" So many awesome books out there....
It is amazing to watch this little one evolve so beautifully. Books are so awesome and open so many wonderful doors for creativity and knowledge. Good job:) Mama, Baba, teachers. Sojo is one lucky gal to have all those books surrounding her. I love the way she lines them all up.
